The short extract released by Canal + on social networks leaves little doubt as to the nature of her announcement: "It's not an interview like the others, that's true. I have a little announcement to make. I'd prepared myself for this interview, but I've still got a bit of emotion in my stomach. It's going to be official soon and obviously, it's not a small thing." If the news is confirmed, it means that the Frenchwoman, a professional since 2008, will be putting away her rackets. The player who reached the Round of 16 at Roland Garros (in 2015 and 2017) and the quarter-finals at the Australian Open (in 2022) is set to bid farewell to the French public, probably at Roland Garros.
