Insolite - Beaten, Cachin asks Nadal for his shirt

On Monday, Rafael Nadal and Pedro Cachin engaged in an incredible battle. On a packed Court Manolo Santana, it was the Spaniard who came out on top (6-1, 6-7, 6-3 in 3h03).

After an epic battle, the Argentine, a fervent admirer of Rafa, didn't seem all that disappointed. Indeed, as he shook his opponent's hand, he made a point of thanking him while asking if he could offer him one of his t-shirts: "This is a dream come true for me, I don't know what the protocol is but can I ask you for your t-shirt or your towel or something?"

Naturally, Rafa answered in the affirmative and went to give one of his shirts to the 91st player in the world. Clearly delighted, Cachin even posted on instagram a photo of the t-shirt given to him by the Manacor bull: "Thank you Rafa Nadal. It's a dream. It's so beautiful".

Although very beautiful, this sequence raises a question: did Cachin admire Nadal too much to hope to beat him?

What arrogance! He is King of Shanks... his backhand is not comparable to his competitors... He lost because he isn't good enough, neither is his humility or sense of humour.

If this match is half as good as the Madrid final we are in for a treat.
